VCOR Engineering Services is headed by a professional metallurgist with around 20 years of experience and expertise in material selection, corrosion prevention, control and management, risk-based inspection, welding, heat treatment, root cause/failure analysis and trouble shooting.

Mr. Venkat has been working as a Corrosion Specialist for Asset Integrity Management teams globally with reputed multinational companies and responsible for developing and implementing material selection, corrosion management system and asset integrity services for upstream, refinery, petrochemical and fertilizer industries. With the repository of sound technical knowledge & experience, he has delivered corrosion discipline deliverables for various projects and handled diversified clients like ARAMCO, PDO, ADNOC etc.

Mr. Venkat holds Masters degree in Materials Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai. He has various certifications such as API 571, 580 and Certified Welding Inspector from WRI, Trichy. He has been awarded “Distinction in Corrosion Science and Technology – Industry Category” by AMPP, India chapter (formerly NACE International Gateway India Section).

He has conducted training program for diversified participants including his peers and colleagues too.
